We are rooted in Nepalese and Tibetan Buddhism culture. The co-founders of Sherpacraft strive to share the essense of Tibetan crafts and connect between worlds; Nepal and the developed countries by bridging traditional and modern living.

Sita Shah, CEO

Born and raised in Kathmandu, Sita Shah is an inspirational woman and a creative artist. She defied the odds to make a name for herself in Tibetan Handicrafts. She is rooted in Hindu culture, but has a huge influence of Newari tradition and Tibetan Buddhist culture.

Over the time, she had a deep appreciation for the art of Tibetan culture and practices, which eventually become her passion and life’s work.

She is on a mission to share the beauty of authentic Tibetan handicrafts to your modern world. And share her hard work and determination as a reminder that anything is possible.

P Rai, COO

Meet RAI, he manages the Customer Support and Sales. He has always been curious about Tibetan Buddhism and Himalayan culture.

Rai started his early career as a trekking guide. Having travelled around the Himalayas, he enjoyed the beauty of Tibetan handicrafts, culture and traditions. He developed a love for the art of Tibetan Handicrafts, which eventually led to co-founding Sherpacraft.

Rai believes in supporting local communities and preserving traditional techniques. Every purchase from his business directly benefits the skilled artisans who bring these treasures to life.
